RPM Wines & Spirits is a collaboration between Ricardo Moreira, José Roseira and Daniel Pires. They set out to recover the traditions of wine in an old Quinta located in the lower Tâmega, ten kilometres from the river Douro, in the transition zone between the Vinho Verde and Douro wine regions.
On a south-facing slope, sheltered from the north winds and nestled between watercourses, the granite terroir drinks from the mineral richness of the Verín-Chaves-Vidago hydrothermal system, which has a wellspring on a property adjacent to the Quinta.

Over sixty years old, the old vines on the higher ground comprise different native grape varieties, among which Arinto predominates. Our wines are foot-tread and macerated in 250-year-old granite lagares. They are fermented in concrete tanks with minimal intervention, always guided by the goal of conveying the unique character of their grapes and terroir.
The "Quinta"
Quinta da Livração, where we grow the grapes for RPM Wines & Spirits, has been in the hands of José Roseira’s family since 1935. Covering eleven hectares, four dedicated exclusively to vines, the land also includes a three-hectare woodland and a variety of small organic crops.
It was from the old vines inherited from his grandfather that José Roseira began planting new vines in the first decade of this century, focusing on natural minimal intervention wines.
A writer closely linked to contemporary art, it was through Daniel Pires, head of the Maus Hábitos cultural intervention space, that José met Ricardo Moreira and Penhó wines.
From the estate’s last production of pure wines, 2013, we restored the vineyards to create wines that thrill both in their first and eleventh year.
